Our beach access & car park
Newton Shores offers local access to the beach. Our car park is near to the cliff and offers access to the beach via a ramp dug from the clay cliff. There is a charge for this car park for those who use it (day visitors). If you are staying with us, then you need only to walk from our site.
We aim to price fairly with a pay scale offering good value. For ease of use and independence this car park uses a mobile phone payment system which uses local call rates, or you can register at home before you come out on your PC using www.parkmobile.co.uk.
2 hours = £1.00
4 hours = £2.00
8 hours = £3.00
Fishing over night? 24 hours = £4.00
The ramp is the easiest way to access the beach locally. As this coast is subject to erosion we cannot make this feature permanent (i.e concrete). However we endeavour to keep the access as usable as possible given our local conditions. Please note this beach access is not suitable for wheelchair use.
We ask that all users respect the environment, leave nothing behind on the beach and dispose of any picnic remains or rubbish. We are delighted when on occasion some of our visitors will take a black bag and collect rubbish, flotsam and jetsom off the beach.
A rubbish bin is provided on the car parkFor more information about the car park and the paying system please call or email us
